The Data Science Association shot to its second level with a meeting held at the University of Malaya Staff Club (UMAC) yesterday (20 July 2017. Initiated by Espact CEO, U K Menon, the main object of the association is to help create a profession of data scientists in Malaysia and the region. There was a general expression of support from all who attended with many volunteering their services to firm the setting up of the association.

The next meeting will be in the form of a seminar to be held on 23 August 2017 at the same venue at 6.00pm to 9.00pm. A light dinner will be served before the seminar.
