Teacher upgrading, one of the focus areas of the recently published Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 places new emphasis on teacher appraisal. This programme examines how school managers should appraise their staff whilst understanding all the implications of the process. The programme brings together the latest thinking on the subject from overseas and local sources. The discussions include important topics such as the role of appraisal in school leadership and the role of appraisal in developing teachers.

The one-day programme will serve the needs of school managers, headmasters, teachers and the governors of educational institutions.
