68 teachers from Tamil kindergartens across the country will graduate with the Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Asia e University on Saturday (19 October 19) at the PWTC. The teachers are from kindergartens supported by the Malaysian Community and Education Foundation (MCEF) serving the Indian community in Selangor, Perak, Pulau Pinang and Kedah.

Espact provided the educational support for the project in all 3 centres. A total of 45 senior academics, some of them professors from local universities, provided the tuition for the programme.

The seven semesters of the Graduate Diploma were taught over 30 months from May 2016. Espact Executive Manager, Ms Lee Yin Su handled the herculean task of coordinating the teaching and assessment and visiting the different kindergartens for the practicum.
